Joan Bruneau
Joan shares her passion for experiencing beauty in daily life through her work. Using Nova Scotia earthenware clay, she hand-crafts fine pottery informed by ceramics history, natural phenomena and ornament. Her sensuous shapes and surfaces invite contemplation and inspire use. In 1995, Joan began her teaching career at NSCAD University and established her Lunenburg studio/storefront, Nova Terra Cotta Pottery, operating until 2022.
